The SIGN-SEEKERS DRIVING CLUB is ON AND POPPIN’!!

The name comes from the idea of going out on drives in search of “fun-ahead” signs and, therefore, finding good, curvy roads!

The mission of this “club” is to venture out together on fun drives in search of the best roads and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow driving enthusiasts, while using our hobby to give back! That's right, the Sign-Seekers Driving Club is a non-profit organization; 100% of all proceeds go to charity! Who says going for a drive can't benefit someone else??

So not only is it a fantastic way to get together with other like-minded enthusiasts who enjoy driving their cars through the twisties, but it provides the opportunity to benefit others while doing something you enjoy!!

So, at this point, you’re probably wondering…

Where will we go??

ALL OVER!! We’re going to start small with some day-trips to south-eastern Ohio, which (believe it or not) features some of the best roads in the country.

We’ll eventually venture out for some longer, “destination” driving trips. These trips will involve multiple driving stints to different parts of a given region to experience as many epic roads as possible.

Destination trips will feature an overnight stay. This will give us the opportunity to include more social aspects such as dinner and drinks (after driving is done for the day, of course!), in addition to the usual social breaks at coffee shops, scenic overlooks etc.

How much does the club cost?

This club is not intended to be a money-making venture; quite the opposite! The Sign-Seekers Driving Club is a non-profit organization.

The only cost to you is time, fuel, and any travel expenses involved in the trip (hotel, parking, etc), and a small administrative fee charged by motorsportreg.com (the website we'll utilize to sign up for these drives).

How can I get my hands on some Sign-Seekers Driving Club merch??

Sign-Seekers Driving Club merch is available for purchase at funaheadtv.com; all proceeds go to charity. Ever wanted to buy a sick new tee and help out a charity at the same time?? NOW YOU CAN!!!

Do I need to become a “member”?

No, this is not a membership-based club. Just sign up per event, show up and drive!!

For overnight trips, will I have to make any travel arrangements??

As the organizer, I’ll take care of reserving all necessary travel reservations DURING the trip. All costs related to travel expenses will be paid for in the form of the sign-up fees for the trip.

Of course, any arrangements you need to make to get TO and FROM the trip are up to you.

Where do I find out about events and WHERE DO I SIGN UP??

See the top of this webpage!

How many people will be able to join a given trip?

For now, I’m limiting attendance to 10 cars per trip, so if you’re interested in an event, sign up as soon as you hear about it!

Admittedly, 10 is a rookie number, so we might bump this number up in the future as we fine tune the way we do drives, and/or if a given trip is more conducive for a larger group.

That said, the attendance cap is done for the safety of participants, and of the general public. Additionally, smaller groups make it easier to travel / move together, stay together through stoplights, park in the same parking lots, shorten fuel stops, get a table together at restaurants, etc, etc, etc.

Is the club limited to a specific manufacturer?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!! All makes / models are welcome!

...except clapped out, straight-piped G37s aren’t allowed under any circumstance… JK… but for real… but JK… but seriously, JK, for real, JK, JK for real :)

Can I join as a motorcyclist?

Of course! Just know that you’re riding in a group of cars, so ride at your own risk.

Which charity will the club donate to?

There is a pretty long history of cancer in my family. Needless to say, it's something that has impacted me personally and has hit very close to home during multiple points in my life. Unfortunately, I’m sure just about all of you have been affected by it in one way or another at some point. So wanted to see if maybe we could use this hobby of driving our expensive cars around to do some good…

All proceeds of the Sign-Seekers Driving Club will be donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, specifically to the area of funding pediatric cancer research. Let’s drive to help the kids!!

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is of the top tier cancer-focused charities in the world and has the top ranking for financial management and fundraising efficiency... this means our donations are ACTUALLY being used for cancer research!
